There are a number of places or things within the village that aren't obvious or well-known, but not for much longer!
Just beyond Cot Castle you can find these fascinating limekilns remains.
A remnant from the industrial past of Stonehouse. This pair of single-draw limekilns have been filled in for safety, but still provide a fascinating sight for those that seek them out.
